League and Division Information

Camels Hump Little League's (CHLL) primary focus is to foster the love of Baseball and Softball in our community.

Majors and Minors Baseball

Teams for Minors and Majors divisions will be structured with feedback from coaches who have coached the players in previous years and with information gathered at assessment days. The goal is to create balanced teams and ensure that each team has players who are skilled at the pitcher and catcher positions. This will allow for teams to have some consistent pitching and catching while working on developing other players interested in these positions.

We have finalized the plans for Minors and Majors Assessment Days. Following are the details:

  • - Assessment days for minors and majors baseball will be held at MMU High School on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 24 from 2 - 4:30pm.

- Minors and majors will be split each day with

        - majors players from 2-3pm

  •        - minors players from 3-4:30 pm
  • -Players are encouraged to attend both sessions, but we understand if you have a scheduling conflict and can only attend one session.

Coach Pitch and T-Ball

Teams for t-ball and coach pitch will be built with the goal of limiting roster size to help ensure a better experience for everyone with the goal of developing skills at this age, a love for the game, and the experience of being on a team.

Ages

Please note that players must be a minimum of "League Age 4" to participate in T-Ball Baseball or Minis Softball, and not older than "League Age 12" to participate in Majors. League Age is the players age on August 31, 2024. We use the baseball age chart for both baseball and softball:

2024 Baseball and Softball Age Chart

CHLL reserves the right to move players to other teams within a division if for some reason teams are not balanced from a player ability standpoint, and across divisions if it is necessary to field a team in a certain division.

We do offer All-Star teams at the conclusion of the regular season for those players that would like a more competitive environment, and the opportunity to play in the District/State/Regional/International Little League Tournament.
